Are you looking for a transformative experience that will reconnect you with your true self and the natural world? Do you want to explore the ancient wisdom and healing power of ayahuasca, a sacred plant medicine from the Amazon rainforest? If so, you might be interested in attending a retreat in Scandinavia.

Ayahuasca is a brew made from two plants: the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf. It has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples in South America for spiritual, mental and physical healing, as well as for divination and guidance. Ayahuasca can induce profound visions, insights, and emotions that can help you overcome personal challenges, release trauma, and awaken to your potential. However, ayahuasca is not a recreational drug or a magic bullet. It requires careful preparation, respect, and intention to work with this powerful ally. That’s why it’s important to choose reputable, locale or certified curanderos that serve authentic medicine and can offer you a safe and supportive environment for your journey.
Follow a pre-ceremony diet and lifestyle. Ayahuasca is not compatible with certain foods, substances, medications, and activities that can interfere with its effects or cause adverse reactions. Therefore, it’s important to follow a pre-ceremony diet and lifestyle that will cleanse your body and mind and optimize your receptivity to the medicine. The general rule is to avoid anything that is stimulating, intoxicating, or toxic for at least a week before your ceremony. This includes alcohol, drugs, sugar, salt, spices, oil, meat, dairy products, fermented foods, processed foods, and sexual activity. Instead, eat a light, clean, healthy and try to preserve your energy. Tobacco and caffeine is on the list too but here we are with all things in moderation.

Ayahuasca cleanses and unpack our memories I’ve personally struggled to learn how to bridge how the profound experience and teachings of the plants the deep shamanic spaces can open and connect us with all that is. This is not held in the collective of our current environment as we have cut ourselves off from incredible possibilities to understand ourselves better and see all things in the light.

Ayahuasca is not something to be taken lightly or casually. Whether you are new to ayahuasca or have previous experience, these retreats will offer you an opportunity to dive deeper into yourself and discover new dimensions of your being. It is a sacred medicine that can open your mind, heart, and soul to new levels of awareness and healing. However, it can also be challenging, intense, and unpredictable. That’s why it’s essential to prepare yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for your ceremony.
Our retreats are led by qualified and experienced facilitators who have extensive knowledge and training in ayahuasca and other modalities of healing and transformation. We also follow ethical and sustainable practices that respect the plants, the environment, and the local communities in Peru. Not all ayahuasca retreats are created equal. We are professionals and we are surrounded by a compassionate staff.
